“Eating with six senses” implies a healthy diet during the holidays and this culinary concept is available in all Six Senses Resorts. At Six Senses Krabey Island, we enjoyed vegan versions of local dishes, including the “nom Banh Chok”, a pasta dish and a Khmer staple. Rice and vegetable noodles with a creamy coconut soup made from “kreung” curry paste, garnished with fresh herbs and leaves. Chef Mark also made a super loaded salad for lunch that he made right in front of us, filled with goodness and nutrition. It was one of the best salads we have ever eaten, a perfect way to show the concept of “eating with six senses”.

This includes the Mei Jiang, considered one of the best Cantonese restaurants in Bangkok, where guests can enjoy fine cuisine in an elegant setting. The tofu flower in our double-cooked soup was made with extraordinary “Dao Yi” (knife skills) and looked exquisite, a perfect bowl of Cantonese goodness. The revolutionary “food of the future”, Omnimeat with finely chopped vegetables in another dish. Contained in the pumpkin and served in a creamy pumpkin sauce, this beautifully presented bowl was vibrant and very pleasing to the eye. Dinner at Mei Jiang was an unforgettable journey through Cantonese cuisine with herbs that will delight you.
