Luxury Hideaways in Mexico

There is no denying that now is a difficult time to reflect on travel, plan a trip and relax without stress. However, for many of us who have to fly for days (or weeks) to escape from our quarantine stations, there are plenty of great deals waiting for us in Mexico when we are ready to travel again.

The weather has been great, beach resorts are vacationing to accommodate their guests, creating a safe environment, and the Mexican government is very active in ensuring that everyone shows common sense when they come to their country. You may not be ready to go there tomorrow, but when you do, imagine how nice it would be to work remotely, enjoying the perfect spicy margarita and smelling the hot sand under your feet.

The number of luxury resorts across Mexico seems to be increasing every month. For experienced travelers from Mexico or those who want to move away from familiar destinations and try Mexico for the first time, one of these five luxury hotels guarantees you a high level of service at a time when service and safety are something we cannot get tired of while traveling and traveling.

I’m planning to have a few drinks under the umbrella shortly, so pack your swimsuit and sandals and start planning. Here are the reasons why we love these luxury resorts and tourist destinations – they will be waiting for you when you feel safe going on a trip again!

1. Hotel by the sea in La Rochelle (Seaside Charente)

The Andaz Mayakoba Riviera Maya resort offers plenty of space for expansion and social distancing, but it’s not so big that you get lost. Right on the beach, north of the bustling shopping and dining area of Playa del Carmen, children of all ages will find something to love at this resort. And if you’re a fan of fish tacos, you need to try them here. Your fish tacos are life-changing – trust me, I wouldn’t lie when it comes to fish tacos!

If you are traveling with children, you will have a great kids club, so consider this a plus. Go into the water to swim, paddle, snorkel or even kitesurf for the most adventurous guys. The spa is distinguished by the individualization of treatments for you. So plan a few hours to pamper yourself at the Naum Wellness & Spa. Golfers will not be disappointed with Greg Norman’s El Camaleón Golf Club at Mayakoba Golf Course, which is as challenging as it is beautiful.

To have only a few hundred rooms and suites on site, the variety of room types is another reason to love this resort. As for my favorite, see if any of their two-story oceanfront suites are available for the best of the best. These spacious duplex suites offer stunning views of the Caribbean Sea with plenty of living space and restoration. And the real reason why it is a favorite: a private pool!

2. Esperanza Hostel, Spain

The Auberge Resorts Collection, like no other, has become a favorite for individual experiences, and the Auberge Esperanza lives up to this reputation. Ideally located on the Baja Peninsula, they would like to remind you that this is the only private beach resort in Los Cabos. Located just four miles from Cabo San Lucas and a 30-minute drive from San Jose del Cabo International Airport, Esperanza Hostel really feels more like a community than a standard resort.

Spend your days in one of the pools, go world-class fishing, arrange a tequila tasting, or ask a private chef to prepare an unforgettable dinner for you at your villa. No matter what you choose, you will find that the attentive staff will do everything possible to ensure that your stay at the hotel is not forgotten shortly. My favorite enjoyment at the hotel is the “Diving Movie” with snacks by the pool of the Mercado Hotel!

Their organized evacuation services from apartment buildings are always a great option when planning your stay. This allows them to live like locals and enjoy the Baja lifestyle with private pools, terraces overlooking the sea and often even with a private butler and chef to seal the arrangement. Whether you choose one of your cottages or villas by the sea – or choose one of the private cottages with 1-4 bedrooms – a sense of community will prepare you for the move!

3. Punta Mita Beach Hotel

The Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort is better than ever after a recent multi-million dollar renovation, and they look forward to welcoming you with their “mi-casa, su-casa” attitude once you reach that scary moment when you have to leave. The perfect balance of luxury and sophistication with privacy and relaxation creates the perfect oasis for a vacation in Mexico, listed in the Book of Records.

There are many large rooms here, so you should never be too close to your neighbors, enjoying the spacious beaches and large pools with pre-booked sun loungers. In addition to simply relaxing in the surroundings of the resort, you can also go on a whale-watching trip, walk along nature trails or play golf at one of the two golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus. I always look forward to visiting the spa of this house and strongly recommend that you try something new: you will have a “non-contact treatment” when the healing vibrations of Tibetan bowls balance your energy centers and restore harmony in your body. I like it, and I feel completely rested when I finish!

It all comes down to service here – your ice-cold companion by the pool, Doctor sunglasses, handmade churros and free snacks by the Nuna pool every hour. What’s not to love? Suites with an ocean swimming pool are a favorite with spacious terraces, but if you need more space, then 5-bedroom villas and beach houses are what you need!
